The next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been in development at least since December 2021, as numerous spy photos and videos suggest. However, we have only seen the sedan before, not the ‘Kombi’ wagon. YouTuber WalkoART has just posted a vid showing the latter.
The new E-Class was reportedly sighted on a crossroads in Germany where it was waiting for the light to turn green. The entire body was heavily cladded, but there was no mistaking the estate car outlines and the long roof.
It is generally expected that the next E-Class will look like a downsized S-Class with a somewhat smaller grille and slimmer headlights. The interior remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that the dual-screen dashboard/infotainment assembly will be present.
Mercedes-Benz has yet to announce the launch date for the new E-Class estate, but we expect it to be later this year.
