Opel has prepared a mid-life refresh for the Corsa lineup, landing the hatchback with a Visor front grille, technically improved matrix headlights and some other upgrades.
On the outside, the Corsa lettering on the tailgate can be specified in a lighter or a darker tone. Inside, the seats, the steering wheel and the gear lever are all new. The infotainment system has a 10-inch display and runs on a Snapdragon CPU. The company says that all phones connected via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will now be wirelessly charged without losing the connection.
For the engine, your main option is a 1.2-liter mild hybrid available in 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) and 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) flavors. You can also go non-hybrid and non-turbo getting 74 PS (73 hp / 54 kW) or opt for a non-electrified turbo mill rated at either 98 PS (97 hp / 72 kW) or 128 PS (126 hp / 94 kW).
The battery-powered Opel Corsa-e has been renamed to Corsa Electric. In its base spec, the hatch offers 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) and up to 357 km (222 miles) of range. A higher-performance, higher-range version is underway.
