The Porsche 911 restoration gurus over at Singer Vehicle Design have just completed their 300th project: a 1990 Targa model revitalized to perfection.
Like most of the company’s other luxury builds (see video), this one started off with an all-custom body molded from carbon fiber. The customer opted for a greenish-blue finish with very understated PORSCHE lettering on the lower doors and rear fenders. The removable part of the roof was given a similar, lighter shade of blue.
The interior was trimmed with vivid orange leather. The company highlighted the tachometer in orange as well and adorned the seats with a plaid ornament and rivets.
To keep things lively, a 4.0-liter, air-cooled flat-six engine was put under the hood. It revs up to 9,000 RPM and sends 390 PS (385 hp / 287 kW) to the rear wheels by way of a five-speed manual transmission. Carbon-ceramic brakes help with the deceleration, and a titanium exhaust system ensures a rich sound profile for the restomod.
