SsangYong Actyon successor revealed with cabin pics and prices

KG Mobility (KGM), formerly known as SsangYong, has unveiled a new crossover SUV in South Korea. It wears the revived company’s Actyon badge and costs from 33,950,000 to 36,490,000 KRW depending on the trim.

The new KGM Actyon runs on the same platform as the KGM Torres and has the same wheelbase length of 2,680 mm (104.7 inches). At 4,740 mm (185.2 in) long, 1,920 mm (75 in) wide and 1,680 mm (65.6 in) tall, it is slightly longer and wider than the Torres, but less tall.

The trunk fits from 668 to 1,568 liters (23.6 to 55.3 cubic feet) of luggage depending on the seat position, and 20-inch wheels come as standard. The driver gets a UI composed of two 12.3-inch displays, but the dash layout looks much like that of the Torres, with only minor improvements. For one thing, a compact selector replaces the old transmission lever. 32-color ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad and a number of ADAS are included in the base spec. You can choose between black or caramel beige color for the interior, but contrasting red accents will be present in any case.

Powering the KGM Actyon is a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine capable of 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). The transmission is six-speed automatic and the drive is on the front wheels, but you can opt for part-time AWD. The Torres mentioned above has the same engine, output and transmission.

KGM plans to introduce the new Actyon on export markets later this year.
