Big Limos, a U.S.-based car tuning atelier primarily famous for making limousine versions of popular cars, has put up an auction for what it claims to be the world’s first and only Tesla Model S Limo to date. The item goes with a starting price of U.S. $80,400.
According to the papers accompanying the new vehicle, it is based on the 2015 Tesla Model S S85. The rear-driven liftback now comes with a 382-hp, 441 Nm strong engine driven by an 85-kWh battery assembly. Despite the impressive stats, it can only run up to 241 kilometers (150 miles) before discharge.
The new limousine is still in its final pre-release stage. According to Big Limos, the only things left to perfect are the interior trimming and some body panels.
Interestingly, prior to proceeding with the transformation of the Tesla liftback, Big Limos announced in April 2017 that it would likely be priced at roughly U.S. $200,00.
