The Carice TC2 is an all-electric roadster with vintage Porsche charms

Carice Cars, a company based in Delft, Netherlands, has unveiled what it claims is an all-original car inspired by the world’s first Porsches and powered by an e-motor.

Judging by the photos, the two-seater is comparable with Japanese Kei cars like the Daihatsu Copen in terms of size. It weighs in at an astounding 630 kilos (1,390 pounds) with the battery installed, so it probably is as tiny as it looks. The company says low curb weight translates into sporty handling and performance.

Matching the retro exterior is a leather cabin styled with aluminum details and an analog instrument cluster in the middle of the dashboard. Climate control and on-board audio are available.

Aside from the weight, only one other spec has been revealed thus far, and it is the range: 300 km, or 186 miles, per charge. Pre-orders are already open starting from €44,500. Each car is manufactured and assembled by hand against a specific custom order, with no warehouse stock to choose from. Carice Cars says the first production batch has already been sold out.
