Toyota Century spins off a GRMN version

The deluxe SUV that is the Toyota Century will soon be available in a driver-focused special edition by Gazoo Racing.

Called the GRMN, it originally debuted side-by-side with the normal Century SUV last year. It was still an early prototype at that point, and was later handed over to Toyota CEO, Akio Toyoda. Compared to its more mundane cousin, it had additional aerodynamic parts installed, performance brakes and a sliding door at the rear left.

The company never said specifically what it planned to do with the GRMN version. We suspect that it may end up being more of a design overhaul than an actual performance upgrade.
