The main Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg, Germany is already churning out facelifted Golf hatchbacks and wagons.
The facelift was previewed at the beginning of the year. The first car made this weekend was a Golf Style hatchback finished in Anemone Blue Metallic.
The Wolfsburg HQ has just recently celebrated producing 48,000,000 vehicles since the year 1945. The company claimed that no other factory on Earth made so many cars in its entire lifetime.
Most of the cars made at the site were Golf models of eight generations (around 20 million in total). The company also assembled 12 million classic Beetles at its Wolfsburg site and 3.5 million Tiguans.
