Zeekr has posted a short video previewing the cabin of its facelifted 001 model. The first shipments are already underway and the sales start on Saturday, October 11, but all prices will remain secret until then.
This would not be the first interior refresh for the 001, which received a new steering wheel, a redesigned dashboard and a different infotainment display a year and a half ago. The next model year sees the middle screen once again grow up – this time from 15.05 to 16 inches – and the resolution go up from 2.5K to 3.5K, manufacturer-rated. The projected heads-up display also now has 39.3 inches of real estate instead of 35.5. Last but not least, the infotainment system runs on the latest, seventh-generation operating system.
Another nice feature comes in the form of a panoramic roof that doubles as a “starry sky” headliner. A touch panel in the rear row can be used to toggle it on and off. The front passenger’s seat is now particularly comfortable and comes with an adjustable footrest, the company claims.
The rest of the details were published when Zeekr opened preorders for the 001. The five-door hatchback now features a 900V electronic architecture for faster charging (up from 800 volts), a bigger 103-kWh battery pack (up from 100 kilowatt-hours) and a more powerful rear-axle motor (numbers pending). Thanks to a new computing platform capable from 700 TOPS (up from 508 TOPS), the car can now drive itself more confidently across a range of situations.
Opting the for most powerful 2026 Zeekr 001 on the market gives you 926 PS (913 hp / 681 kW) heading for all four wheels and a 2.83-second sprint time. In turn, going for the longest-range version gives you 800+ km (500+ miles) of range per charge.
