Audi refreshes the Q2

Audi has premiered the 2021 facelift version of its compact-sized Q2 SUV. Revisions are limited to exterior and equipment, and prices start from €25,000 in Germany.

For the time being, the new Q2 only ships in its 1.5-liter turbocharged form (150 hp / 112 kW, available in 7G DCT and 6G manual versions). 1.0 TFSI (116 hp / 87 kW) and 2.0 TFSI (190 hp / 142 kW) variants should emerge later, and so should 1.6 TDI (116 hp / 87 kW) and 2.0 TDI (150 hp / 112 kW).

The new Q2 looks sportier overall thanks to its redesigned air intakes, sharp edges and lower front grille.

The standard equipment list now includes LED lights, and you may opt for LED Matrix lights with dynamic turn blinkers if you pay extra.

Novelty in the exterior boils down to a different gear selector and infotainment system with new features. Contrary to the modern trends, Audi continues to offer a control knob instead of a touch-sensitive display here. However, given that recent studies have proven touchscreen surfaces to be dirtier than toilets, this seems not altogether devoid of logic.
