BMW i Vision Circular is a garbage EV, but in a good sense

BMW has come to the IAA show in Munich with the i Vision Circular, a prototype car and design study meant to show us what a compact BMW might look like in 2040. Oh, and it’s 100% recyclable, including even the battery.

The concept sports an unusual design that incorporates individual BMW traits here and there. For instance, the kidney grille is present, but consists of bright LED strips. The body has been anodized to achieve a bronze look (painting would have been too bad for the nature), and the rear end was thermally treated to a bluish tint.

Inside, the main feature comes in the shape of a triangular interactive display utterly unlike all current LCDs and plasma screens. The car manufacturer claims it is ‘the brain of the electric car’ without elaborating much. The seats appear to be hovering on thin supports, and the front panel boasts some natural wood lining.
