Chery-owned car brand Jetour is planning a significant expansion of its utility vehicle lineup, Car News China reports. The company wants to produce five new models in 2024 and 2025.
The first three will be ‘hardcore off-roaders’ so far known only under their codenames - T1P, T1L and T1H. The first two will allegedly be hybrids, while the third one will be tech-laden with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset on board.
In 2025, an SUV called T-2 and a truck named P-2 will debut to compete with the Tank 300 and the Great Wall Pao, respectively.
Rumor has it that some of these vehicles may be designed for the international market, but Jetour has yet to comment.
