DR Automobiles has brought quite a few new cars to the Turin Auto Show earlier this month, including a crossover called the K3 and a pickup known as the K4.
The ICH-X K3 is based on the Jetour T2 platform from China and utilizes a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine to drive all four wheels with 245 PS (242 hp / 180 kW).
The K4 is essentially a rebadged JAC T9 from the same country that uses a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) at the crank. The power also goes to both axles. The truck is 5.3 meters, or roughly 207 inches, long and features a frame for serious off-roading.
Customers in Europe can preorder the SUV from €48,500. The pricing for the pickup is pending.
When DR Automobiles launched a promo campaign for its “ICKX” vehicle brand in Europe last spring, famous racing driver Jacky Ickx sued the company over using his last name. The court ruling was never made public, but the automaker renamed the brand to “ICH-X” this spring.
