Lamborghini has unveiled the Aventador S Yamamoto by Yoji Yamamoto, a fashion designer from Japan.
The car was present at the ceremonial opening of the Tokyo-based Lamborghini Lounge, the second location of its kind after the Ad Hominem customization studio in New York, USA.
Lamborghini Design Director Mitja Borkert realized that he wanted to team up with Yoji Yamamoto for a collaboration project after seeing his fashion collection in Paris and feeling very impressed with the artistic combination of white, black and red.
Along with revealing the car, Yamamoto has launched a new clothing line in the same visual aesthetics, including a hoodie, a bomber jacket, and a coat with white and red strokes. He left his signature under each brand logo.
For those who did not remember, the Aventador S comes powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 rated at 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque, which is assisted by a seven-speed DCT box. The sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of three seconds, and the top speed amounts to 350 km/h (217 mph).
