Does this Mercedes-AMG C 43 by Brabus feel premium enough for you?

Brabus, a name that needs no introduction in the car tuning world, has posted a sale ad for this Mercedes-AMG C 43 with an asking price of nearly €90,000. Wouldn’t it make more sense to just buy a brand-new C 63 AMG instead? Let’s see.

Much of the appeal of the custom car comes from its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 boosted to deliver additional 60 horsepower and 65 Newton-meters of torque, bringing the total to 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 585 Nm (431 lb-ft). Bolstered like this, the sedan needs only 4.5 seconds to get from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph). Top speed remains electronically capped at 250 km/h (155 mph), however.

On the outside, the ride has a sporty-looking rear diffuser, Brabus Monoblock S rims sized 19” across, Pirelli tires and the tuner’s badge to show for being non-stock.

Rounding things off is a partial interior makeover using premium leather, aluminum pedal pads, illuminated kick plates, and branded floor mats. Having said that, some details, such as the red leather seats, remain stock.

To sum up our impressions, we like the overall direction the build takes, but the price seems to be a bit on the steep side. And what about you?
