Litchfield cranks Yaris GR up to 300 PS

Litchfield has announced a range of upgrade options and accessories for the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris. Apparently, the tuner has received a record-breaking number of requests from its clients to boost the hot hatch further.

The most interesting part of the deal arguably comes in the form of an ECU tune that’s already finished and tested on two vehicles so far. The stock 1.6-liter turbocharged four-pot gains boost pressure and goes from its usual 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW) to around 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW).

The list goes on to mention a cat-back exhaust system, a revised air intake system and a more efficient intercooler. Yaris owners will also be able to opt for a bolt-on roll cage for rally racing, sportier suspension components, and racing seats. All of the above should go on sale in several weeks or months.
