Lamborghini reports breaking multiple profit records

The Italian company’s financial results in 2023 were the best in history by car volume sold, gross revenue and net profit all at the same time. Making it all the more impressive is the fact that Lamborghini never had the time to include its new newest flagship, the Revuelto, into the report.

The company sold 10,112 vehicles last year, crossing the ten-thousand mark for the first time on record. It neglected to reveal the model-by-model list, but one has to imagine that the Urus SUV reigned supreme in that regard.

The operational revenue came to a record €2.66 billion, surpassing the preceding year’s figures by a bold 12.1%. The profit went up 17.8% to €723 million. The Revuelto is currently backordered until 2026, and the Huracan and the Urus are both sold out until the end of production.

According to Lamborghini Financial Director Paolo Poma, the company positions itself as a luxury item vendor first and foremost, as opposed to a carmaker. We head a very similar statement from Rolls-Royce leadership a little while ago.

In 2024, the company is planning a major refresh of its model lineup. A new supercar is expected to appear that would replace the Huracan, and a second Urus update should be coming soon. Among other things, Lamborghini will be taking part in this year’s endurance racing season, competing in the topmost category.
