Nissan Qashqai facelift revealed

The updated Nissan Qashqai will soon arrive in Europe and later in other markets as well, including Australia. The pre-order books will open in summer.

Starting with the exterior, the front fascia sports a new bumper and a mesh grille. The headlights have been rearranged and redesigned for efficiency, so the high beams now illuminate a wider portion of the road. The taillights have been reworked in a partially similar fashion.

Customers will be able to choose from some new color options and wheel designs. The wheels come in sizes from 18 to 20 inches.

Inside, the main improvement is a much wider selection of trimming materials. The top trim even gets Alcantara on the dashboard.

The multimedia system runs a new OS by Google and should perform faster thanks to upgraded hardware. Maps, a voice assistant and Google Play are already preinstalled. The surround-view camera system has received some major updates, such as the ability to see through the hood (“transparent hood”).

As for the powertrains, we already know that they stay the same for Europe. The Qashqai only sells as a hybrid in the EU with options ranging from 140 to 190 PS (138 to 187 hp; 103 to 140 kW).
