Rare RUF RCT restomod can be yours for $351k+

Famous tuning company RUF turned a regular 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 into a swanky restomod called the RCT, and you can now buy it in on BaT in the United States. The bidding is at $351,000 with a whole week left.

Exterior modifications include new bumpers, a lightweight aluminum hood, a bulging engine deck lid at the back and a tender green paint job that the original Carrera 2 didn’t have on the list. The restomod also rides on new 18-inch wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires.

Power still comes from the original 3.6-liter flat-six, but upgraded internals mean it now churns out 430 PS (424 hp / 316 kW) along with 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. A five-speed manual transmission conveys the momentum to the rear wheels. The listing mentions the usual suspension and brake upgrades as well.

Mustard-colored leather covers the interior, including the new door panels. There is a modern audio system on board, a RUF steering wheel, a short-throw gear lever and aluminum pedal pads.

The listing mentions two incidents in the record of this particular car – one around nine and the other one around six years ago. It emphasizes that both took place before the restoration by RUF, so the car should be in pristine condition again.
