Video: Toyota Crown hearse becomes a crazy drift car

Russia strikes again in a new viral video showing a funeral house vehicle performing unhinged drift stunts with morbid glee in the driver’s eyes.

Igor Mironov, the guilty party behind the conversion, admits that he had to invest plenty of time into making a drift tool from the unwieldy Toyota Crown. Among other things, he had to redo the entire drivetrain from scratch, as well as replace the reduction gear, the springs and the rear axle. Transmission proved the greatest challenge: in the end, the tuner literally had to combine two gearbox designs into one to end up with a working solution.

Describing his funeral wagon, Mironov proudly states that it can do everything a drift car should be able to do, including switches, standing on side wheels, and more.
