Stunning Toyota Supra drift car has carbon/Kevlar body and 1,000 HP

HGK Racing Team has just revealed its brand-new drift car based on the Mk5 Toyota Supra (A90). Let’s delve into the specifics!

The engineers obtained a stock A90 Supra to modify it thoroughly with the ultimate drift experience in mind – and here is the result. The greenish-yellow tint the car has is not from any kind of paint; instead, this is what naked carbon fiber looks like when mixed with Kevlar fiber for superb durability and weight reduction.

The front and rear arches are both larger, the side skirts longer, and the nose and the tail have been redesigned for performance. Brakes have been swapped out for high-end ones, and new suspension and steering column were introduced as well.

Last but by no means least, the stock 3.0-liter BMW inline-six flew out to make room for the iconic Toyota 2JZ-GTE, which was subsequently dialed up to around 1,000 hp (750 kW).
