Lamborghini’s latest product is a home audio system

Lamborghini has joined efforts with Italian high-end audio device manufacturer Sonus faber to launch an exclusive speaker set called Il Cremonese Ex3me Automobili Lamborghini Edition. Inspired by the automaker’s supercars, it made its debut at the recent Monterey Car Week.

All speakers feature a natural wood housing and are trimmed with carbon fiber alongside Corsa-Tex fabric by Dinamica. Raging Bull badges adorn every speaker.

From the technical point of view, the set is identical to the company’s Il Cremonese Ex3me. High frequencies are played back via a beryllium tweeter with DLC coating and frequency response exceeding 35 kHz. The middles are handled by a 180mm driver made from cellulose, kapok fiber and mallow hemp fiber. Dual 180mm sandwich-layered subwoofers deliver the bass response.

Only 50 pairs of speakers will be made under this collaboration, each pair fine-tuned by ear to ensure level sound. Buyers will be choosing from the five standard color options, and each speaker will ship with its own serial number plaque.

This isn’t the first time Lambo and Sonus faber work together. The automaker’s Urus SE crossover and Revuelto superhybrid already take advantage of Sf audio systems. The Revuelto has seven speakers on board, including two subwoofers, and an amp. The nominal power amounts to 750W. The Urus SE tops it with nearly 1,500W of raw sound, though.
