Video: Hennessey Goliath 700 cooking up donuts

A while ago, Hennessey Performance launched an extensive tuning program for the Chevrolet Silverado and its close relative, GMC Sierra. This week, the tuner recorded a video to show off what its “Goliath” build is capable of.

Installed here is the Goliath 700 package, where the number in the name corresponds to the engine horsepower. The company also has packages with 500, 650 and 800 horsepower on offer, but, as you may see, the most expensive upgrade is not required for some spectacular drifting and burnouts. In fact, when you take an already potent 6.2-liter V8 and outfit it with a massive 2.9-liter supercharger, things are bound to get wild.

Also on offer for the Goliath are a body kit, custom wheels and suspension, exhaust system, and a slew of accessories such as tonneau covers and running boards. Should you wish so, the tuner will even rebuild it into a 6x6 vehicle, adding a fully functional third axle – but be prepared to part with U.S. $375,000 or more if your appetites are as high as that.
