Lincoln reveals specs, release date of the Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door series

U.S. car manufacturer Lincoln has held an official presentation dedicated to the anniversary issue of its Continental sedan. The Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door series will consist of 80 vehicles and enter the market in USA next summer.

Compared to the main series, the Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door features large, rear-hinged, power-assisted doors that swing open at a straight angle.

It also sports an elongated wheel base (+6 inches / +152 mm), sophisticated seats with as many as 30 possible adjustments, a retractable table found in the rear part of the center tunnel, a gadget charger, a tablet holder and an active noise reduction system.

Each Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door sedan gets a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine rated at 406 hp (303 kW) and 542 Nm (400 pound-feet) of torque, partnered with a six-speed automatic transmission.
