Brilliant Exhaust has designed a supercar-grade exhaust system for this elderly Toyota Century sedan. The car ended up sounding like a real track tool – play the video and turn up the volume, you’ll hear.

The Century executive car line has never boasted much horsepower, even despite packing a giant five-liter V12 under the hood. The best the monstrous engine was ever capable of was 276 hp (206 kW) and 355 Nm (262 lb-ft).

The client of the tuner workshop felt like seeing whether swapping the stock exhaust system out for a ridiculously expensive unit meant for supercars would raise the actual output of the engine. In the end, he had to admit that the $18,000 upgrade changed nothing about his $4,500 ride except for the sound.
