Hofele unveils its own take on the Mercedes-Benz GLE

Hofele is renowned for its ultra-deluxe makeovers of expensive Mercedes-Benz vehicles. A few days ago, the company filled in the gap in its product lineup by introducing the Ultimate HGLE – essentially a Mercedes-Benz GLE finished in pale gold and black.

The first glance at the SUV reveals enormous 23-inch wheels shaped like turbine fans. The chosen shape is not coincidental: apart from looking rather unique and bold, it lends the car a better aerodynamic profile and drastically enhances brake cooling efficiency. At least, this is what the manufacturer claims.

Other immediately noticeable highlights include a new radiator grille, a front bumper and a thin stripe running down the hood cover, giving the car a bit of an old-timer vibe. A new diffuser with redesigned exhaust finishers sits at the rear end.

The cabin overhaul astonishes with its great attention to fine detail, the abundance of high-quality Nappa leather and Alcantara. Plastic is barely even present as a material.

The car shown on the photos is a Mercedes-Benz GLE 450, but Hofele offers similar refinement programs for the entire GLE Class range, from the wallet-friendly 300d to the range-topping GLE 63 S.
