Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG A45 S costs more than Porsche Cayman

At the beginning of the year, Brabus announced a tuning kit for the latest-gen Mercedes-AMG A45 S, but the pricing details have not been revealed until now.

Getting your own hot hatch with the tuner’s B logo costs €89,131. The price includes taxes in Germany, where you can pay €82,500 for a new BMW M3. Even a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 comes second at €83,385.

Is there a point in forking over so much for an A-Class? Well, that’s up to your preferences. It’s still a performance car boosted to 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) mere 3.7 seconds from the start, which is 0.2s faster than stock. Top speed stays unchanged at 270 km/h (168 mph).

Elsewhere, the A45 S enjoys a 30mm (1.2”) reduction in ride height, 20-inch alloys wrapped in Continental rubber, and a few interior niceties such as aluminum side plates and pedal pads. Rounding things off are the mandatory branded velour mats.
