Honda unveils the next-gen Civic in full glory

Following the first pic of the Honda Civic Exterior posted a few weeks ago, the company decided to dispense with the rest of the mystery and announce the model properly.

The next-gen sedan benefits from handling and suspension improvements, as well as an extra 12 mm of rear wheel span for greater stability. The a-pillars move backwards a bit to allow for a slightly longer hood and a more premium feeling, according to Honda.

The base spec makes do with 16-inch steel rollers, while the upper trims enjoy 17- and 18-inch alloys.

By default, the cabin houses a new infotainment display and a digital dashboard screen, both measuring only 7 inches across. The front seats have been reworked, and the airbag count raised to 10. Opt for the top trim, and you will be getting a 10.2-inch digital dash screen, 9-inch multimedia, 12-speaker Bose audio, and wireless charging.

Both four-cylinder engines remain available. One stays unchanged at 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and 187 Nm (138 lb-ft) of torque, while the other benefits from a boost to 183 PS (180 hp / 135 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). CVT is the only transmission type on offer.
